Launch of the Sustainable Finance MOOC
The Horizon & Beyond Foundation, the Institut de la Finance Durable and the Institut Louis Bachelier have joined forces to create a 100% free MOOC in French and English, designed to cover all the major topics in sustainable finance, thanks to a varied panel of experts.
Faced with the growing professionalization of the professions linked to the challenges of sustainable finance and the growing need for training, the three entities behind this MOOC have drawn on the repository of knowledge developed within the framework of academic partnerships and on the wealth of expertise present in France to offer a course accessible to all, students and professionals alike. It aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of current issues in sustainable finance, covering topics such as financing the ecological transition, the principle of double materiality, French and European regulations, responsible financial products, etc.
This MOOC is an initial response to the recommendations of the IFD report ‘Gouvernance de la transition climat dans les entreprises: 10 propositions de la Place de Paris’ on the need to develop a comprehensive climate training program. The first two chapters are already online, and the following ones will be available in December.
